i've carried a full size m&p .40 for quite some time, have used crossbreed but also have found the Raven Concealment Vanguard II to be a good alternative.
@sixer9682 excellent tone. very articulate mid-range and definite mellow rosewood overtones. if he didn't state he was using ej-17's i would swear he was playing nanowebs because the highs aren't overly bright. you've got a good guitar there.
@sixer9682 the Hog is a Southern Jumbo, just a j-45 with some bling. The wood on your Pono is incredible. That guitar is very similar to my other Gibson, the blonde AJ below, although I think the grain on yours has the edge.
I'm a blues guy too, wish I had the speed/talent to do some decent...
@sixer9682 i've always warned my kids to beware of men with a guitar in one hand and toys in the other.
@Nameless Ranger if you like live music and don't mind hanging with an old man, holler at me anytime you're going to be in the Austin area.
nice guitar. i like the dalmation tortoise, definitely adds to the vintage vibe. it's amazing the value BR puts into it's guitars, i mean bone nut and saddle with vintage Gotoh butterbeans, that's a $300 upgrade for most guitars.
@Samoedaddy a couple things you could try if you haven't already...
even though the bluetooth range is good for 30ft or so try pairing within 6ft. if you had the speaker paired with another device previously, try turning bluetooth off on that device.
other than that, power cycling both devices...
This one is the bluetooth 4.1 like your speakers, no idea if that makes any difference, can also hook up to two devices simultaneously.

this is not the exact model I have, can't find that on Amazon atm. but this should work.

I bought a bluetooth transmitter awhile back that I use with headphones. I paired them by pressing their sync buttons for about 5 seconds simultaneously. Is there no sync button on your speakers?
btw, the transmitter I purchased was on Amazon for around $25, works flawlessly. If you don't have...
I don't have this card yet but have been shopping around for awhile. I'm a fan of EVGA cards and have used them for quite some time, using a GTX970SSC atm.
From all the reading I've done on the EVGA 1070's, if your 2088 mhz is stable that's a pretty fine number. Here's a gamernexus review of...
If you're looking to stay east coast, the appalachian trail has some great hikes. Check out the trail in Maine, first 30 miles is a great 3 day hike and now is a good time of year for it. I think the southern part of the trail, GA-TN-NC has higher elevation hiking but Maine vistas are hard to...
agreed, Houston has some great breweries. Regarding Shiner, their Oktobefest beer is something to look forward to in the fall, always.
Ranger, if you haven't tried any, you should give the Real Ale brews a shot. Real Ale is one of the first craft breweries in Texas, 20 years old I think, and...
i don't drink quite as much beer as I have in the past, but still have acquired a fondness for beer from the Real Ale Brewing Co of Blanco, TX.
Their Fireman's 4 blonde and Hans' Pilz are second to none. The GOSE summertime German wheat is excellent, as well.
