Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me!

I thought every child was taught this, I'm just curious as to why yall are so quick to see malice in every word that is used with others.
An individual decides how a word, that they read, makes them feel. The individual gives the word power, so it is the individual's fault that they are offended by a certain word.

I strongly encourage yall to not immediately dismiss bans on language, its childish, especially when the "auto filter" bans someone for speaking with their own friends in a squad chat.

I would like to know what yalls justification is for not listening to someones side of a story, and immediately assuming that someone typing a word means theyre racist or they hate a certain people? I can see how you would not want to be associated with people like that, because theyre fucking assholes, but just because a word is used, doesnt mean anything, unless you give it meaning yourself. Actions, not thoughts or words, (unless used in a threatening manner) have meaning.
