I know how that happened. If nobody is in a tank when you repair it, it counts as a 'hit'.

Also, maybe you used the phantom bow at some time during the round with poison? That can give you multiple hits from just one shot.

Shotguns will do it as well. That was always the classic initial wtf.

Also, do you use the incendiary grenade launcher on the tank? each tick of damage counts as a hit same as poison. Splash damage on multiple enemies counts as well. With shotguns, each pellet that hits counts as a hit.

Shotguns, explosives, fire, anything capable of more than one "hit" from a single "shot" will skew the numbers.

None of that. I killed 3 people w/ the sniper, the rest was in the tank w/ Sabot shell and heavy MG
EDIT: I use active protection btw, not that fire stuff.
