So I order a motherboard and CPU from Newegg because my old motherboard died (and I needed an upgrade), wait almost a week for it because I ordered it on a Friday. Finally get it and new motherboard is dead. So I contact Newegg, get everything sent back, which again takes a week because of the weekend. And now they send me an email saying I forgot to send the IO Shield and they will not even start the process of verifying that my motherboard is dead until I send them the IO Shield... and again it is Friday, so you see where this is going.

that sucks dude, thats why i like to just deal with the local pc store in my area then deal with stuff online. hopefully they rush that out to you so you can get onto bf4 asap!

Same here, I shop at Micro center. Sometimes I may pay a little more but its worth it. Besides , I don't trust the UPS guys , they just toss shit around in their trucks.

That sucks. Fortunately, I've never had a dead MB. I had some I hated, but they always worked. Also, maybe try Amazon next time too. If you have the prime shipping it's 2 days and I've never had them be picky about returns.

Crazy. I've ordered a metric fuckton of crap from Newegg, and the only thing I've had show up DOA was a 40 GB Quantam (sigh) hard drive that had the click of death as soon as I tried to format it. Seconding Sixy's Amazon Prime suggestion in the future, pretty badass.
