Listen To A 747 Pilot Realize He Doesn't Know Where The Hell He Landed
The 747 in question is designed to move 787 components. It landed at Jabrara which as they point out doesn't even have a control tower. After realizing they are at the wrong air port they believe they are at beech who's tower is closed.
After reading back coordinates McConnel informs them they are at Jabrara. This was just as someone walked up to the plane likely the most awesome wtf face ever. The pilot even asks how many airports are south of McConnell and the tower comes back your north of us and 3.
Boeing is trying to get the plane turned around but the first tug they sent broke down. To make matters worse the runway is 3000 feet shorter than required for takeoff worst case. They were trying to assess the actual needed take off distance at the time of the recording.
