Aircraft plants, disguised as suburban towns

After Pearl Harbor, the United States was well aware of the dangers of another air attack from Japan. In an effort to throw off the enemy, the Army Corps of Engineers disguised various aircraft plants along the West Coast. Aircraft plant was located in Seattle.

Pretty damn cool method. I don't think it'd work for those on the ground though it looks nearly perfect for flybys.
