I just bought an album on Amazon and found out after the fact that you cannot download music from Amazon without their cloud player. By itself that is normally a deal breaker but I didn't know about it until after I had bought the music. Problem now is that the cloud player will not download or even see my cloud library without me accepting the terms and conditions of the cloud player. Principal aside (I pay they deliver the music, only terms and conditions I agree to) I cannot seem to find a way to accept their terms and conditions or even find them for that matter. Has anyone dealt with this mess yet at Amazon? Normally I would just walk away from it but I bought an album for myself and a book for my brother. Needless to say this will be my last Amazon transaction but I'd rather not lose the products I paid for.

Find them as flac or another lossless format. That should be fine until Amazon figures out their useless crap DRM mess...

It's really disconcerting how intrusive all online services have become, particularly considering the Snowden mess. I regularly use fake names, Beverly Hills zip code and phone numbers from movies. Several online retailers know me as Joe Mama.

I have the solution for you.
Go to Amazon Cloud Player

Login if requested. You should then be at the index of all your music.

Then at the bottom of the pop up choose just download my file.

Sadly you can't download all of them at the same time, but it should be a simple work around for you.

Mac, you do not have to use their cloud player but do have to use their downloader. Once the file is on your system they have no restrictions so you do whatever you want. I actually do not buy music anywhere but with Amazon because you get the file and do with it as you wish. That plus I use their cloud player on my phone to access all the music I have anywhere I am, but that is another story.

As chuck said you don't need their cloud player. Never had any trouble with that. As with anything on amazon it might be a matter of reading carefully or just finding where the right button is hidden.

As far as the cloud player goes being completely optional its something some people are going to actually desire. That being people who have a high speed connection in every cave they happen to be in.
