That Big ass Update that rolled out today includes Mantle support (In a Beta Stage) that will be executable when the Catalyst 14.1 beta drivers are available in the coming days.

Huzzah. Although it only applies to Kaveri and the new R series of cards, older AMD GCN cards will be ready for mantle in the future. Things are looking good.
