any on-line golfers here?

Yes I know...this is probably WAY OFF topic but I must profess to not only loving first-person shooters like BF2 and 2142 but also on-line golfing for the PS3 and the EA Tiger Woods PGA Tour series.

On March 29th TWPT12 will be released and on it ,it will have for the first time ever on ANY platform,the famous Augusta National course. I've already Pre-ordered my copy and I must say I am on pins and needles waiting for it to arrive.It is going to be in my humble opinion thee most popular game to have come out in quite some time.
I was fortunate to be asked to be a beta-tester the current on=line version for the PC and I can tell you how much fun it was to be a part of it but the PC version is a subscribe ONLY now which pissed me off to no end that I bought a PS3 two Xmas's ago.

SO....I'm just wondering how much interest any of you fellas have had with golfing on=line???

I have Tiger 2008. I and several others are real world golfers. Just picked up the new putter I ordered today. Now, if the rain would just freaking stop here!

Yeah, i played Tiger and of course the classic PGA Golf series on the older computers.

Never been a big fan of golf virtual or otherwise. I had to attend a golf outing with a client about 5 years ago and it wasn't a pretty sight. When we got there we had to wait for it to quit raining so we had a few drinks at the clubhouse and by the time we started playing I was feeling pretty good for someone that had never played the game before. Let's just say the course we were playing on look like it had just been hit by an artillery strike from all my divots try as I may my driver just couldn't connect with that little ball but it sure could dig up the green. : )
