Army announces rollout date for new camo

When I went through SERE a couple of years ago, Big Blue was trying it out for the SERE guys along with PJ's and CCT. I thought it was very effective...they said it was comfy, and *newsflash* it actually was effective as actual camo. Who knows what it will end up like...probably reflective name tapes and patches. Muli-cam is the shit imo.

i MISS the black boots...you could really tell a lot about a troop by how much pride he took in his uniform/BOOTS!

caveat: I hate the current "ACU" pattern the Army currently uses. It looks tacky as fuck and velcro???? Tactical? Really?

I also hate the dress blues now too. I really dig the Army "Greens" so to speak

Needs more PT belts, at least 6-8 for maximum visibility and safety. --Your friendly SMA...

I was a Drill Sergeant when the new and improved velcro crap came out along with the shitty brown no polish scum bag boots. Yes, it was nice not to have to spit shine my boots every night, but it was damn hard to look the part in the wrinkled noisy ass uniform. I hope that when they finally spend millions, again, on new uniforms that they get something sustainable. Hell lets go back to fatigues.
