you live on the east coast? There are some bad routing going on the last few months.

Hey, brother, what kind of video card you running? I ask because I had some major issues that were just the same as yours after the last big update. And after searching around I found that many other people with nVidia cards ( not everyone with an nVidia card, just many ) were having the same issues. I went to nVidia's website, downloaded and installed the latest video driver ( I thought I had the latest one but I was wrong. ) I restarted my machine and I have not a lag issue, no rubber banding, nothing ever since. Runs like a dream now.

Don't know if this will help you, but I sure hope so because it worked for me.

It's not just Nvidia. ATI cards are having the same problem, but up to 10.11 with their drivers, the lag issue was reaaaaaaaly bad. I got so frustrated with it I switched to an Nvidia card. But yeah, bottom line, it's either BC2 horrible coding or problems with connections to their master server that affects everyone.

As usual DICE=Fail!

just an update on the lag i was able to completly get ride of all the lag i when out and bought my own modem from bestbuy and everything is great now the last time my cable company came out they switched my modem after they repaird the line coming to my house they said somthing was wrong with the modem the new modem was totally diffrent then my old one it was for phone and internet but there was deffinintly somthing wrong with that one too so i took my chanses and just went and bought my own and all is good and i dont have too rent one from them

good to hear, might be off topic modem box can get faulty. Long time ago when i knew nothing about connection and computer i had this lag spike that i couldn't figure out. After a year I found out it was the modem box itself got it replaced :) So always make sure the box is good.
