Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had any tips for playing Assault and Support Classes? I get beat on pretty good playing and was wondering if anyone had any tips?

What weapons are best?
etc.?

I have not seen a lot of literature on the internet. Thanks

Fury

I'd start of here if you want more technical info regarding the weapons in BF4:

http://symthic.com/bf4-stats

They have a tonne of info regarding spread and damage dropoff. Personally, i started with carbines first, then assault, and then on to LMGs. Really all I do is do some practice on the test range.

Also, it helps to dial back your network smoothing factor. Helps with lag and hit detection.

7.62 with a bipod and a 3.4 scope for your "bipod weapon". 5.56 with a foregrip and a x1/2 with magnifier(or a 3.4 depending on preference) for an assaut LMG.

Assault class.....SAR-21 foregrip/heavy barrel/prism 3.4

With the assualt class drop medkits like they are on fire try to drop them on groups of players or some place with lots of traffic in an area that has cover when people need them they find them same for ammo boxes

Actually with ammo boxes throw them anywhere near a flag if playing conquest or domination if someone needs it they will go to it if they are smart. I do the same thing mac I just dump a clip at them and if they don't die I either frag and/or hide and pull my pistol

To be honest, its really difficult to give advice on play style and weapons because everyone is a little different. Someone can perform amazing with one setup and completely horrible with another. 99% of the time i run assault with the SKS dmr, and I can tell you the SKS is amazing, but i am fairly certain about +95% of everyone else in here will disagree. In my opinion try various setups between the weapons to see how you like the handling of each one and along with that determine which play style works best for you (front, middle, back).
