Looks like Battlelog is down again, won't let me sign in online. I wonder if this is another patch or if they were shut down by troublemakers again. I was wondering why all of our servers were empty, figured I'd seed one while I went to bed but no can do, now I know why. They are awesome about keeping us alerted to this stuff.

Battlelog or Origin. Don't confuse the two. EA account services are currently offline, basically no one can log into anything which would effectively make Battlelog useless.

Their twitter paints an interesting picture of the situation though as they mention things that really don't paint an entire picture. They say some users... okay maybe. From going in online mode in origin... yes i had that problem. But i can't connect at all. How the fuck is the store operating if you can't login.

NFS World is showing servers down at the moment, but I was able to login. Game fails to launch though due to login error.

I was able to login to Origin, but not Battlelog so I was only able to play BF3 in offline single player mode. Actually I just double checked, ORIGIN is offline mode only right now, completely shut down to online mode.

You were already logged into origin or you actually logged in when this happened? I was already logged in so it was in offline mode. I logged out could not log back in. Launching the game from origin when in offline mode no matter the reason will start the game in single player mode rather than launching battlelog. If it were not an EA account services issue you would be able to log into battlelog or other games. If it was battlelog then origin would still function and likely launch you to the battlellog page with a login error.

I noticed and edited my post probably around the time you read it that NFS World is not working. It is EA as well and while it uses "Origin" logins it is in no way connected to origin and of course not battlelog I wish they would allow launching from Origin. Game launcher annoys the hell out of me.

But if anything is ever not working there are plenty of resources:

They need to make it like NFS World's website and put server status right on the login screen. Thats the main issue those who don't know where to look... it should be right there.

Edit - Oh wow speaking of which NFS World's website isn't even loading.

I cannot log into Battlelog either, so I don't really know. All I know is that I called this a LONG ass time ago. I was just booted from Origin saying my credentials have expired, could not log back in. I think they are being attacked, or their database was hacked and they are locking down logins so peoples accounts don't get stolen. Who knows Rain, I drive a fucking truck for a living, this could be nothing more than a cat5 cable someone tripped over at the office.

lol. I added a moment ago NFS World's entire website is down. They have an issue somewhere over there thats for sure.

EA made a facebook post saying that all EA servers are experiencing difficulties

Rain anyway we can add that status link to the home page? I asked EA to make an API so websites could add to there site, but it went unanswered of course. Be nice to have them at a place we can click quickly.

Can we add a link, of course. Though if this is just a quick link for admins would rather stick it on the admin page so we can just put a the many links they have for info. Whatever you guys want. All they really need to do is put their status to an RSS feed. Though I think for example NFS World's Speed API just recently added server status. Battlefield traditionally doesn't have any official way to communicate. Sites likes Stats Verse and some even less popular options often get their data through means not official nor authorized.

Sorry guys it's my fault, I decided to pick Battlefield 3 up again this morning and as I went to log in they shut everything down like Madagascar.
