I just got done totally bjorking myself.

I used BF4 Settings Editor to edit my files
Then I played campaign through chapter 4
Then I edited my files some more with BF4 Settings Editor

I went to play multiplayer, got a message about my cloud settings being out of sync do I want to use my local or my cloud... I chose LOCAL (because I had just edited those)

I played multiplayer just fine.

I went to play campaign and while the website shows that I am at chapter 4 the game has no clue that I have ever played campaign and starts me over at the beginning.

*sigh dice*

Maybe they need to have a motto like, "Dice, making gaming like a colonoscopy since 2003".

His problem is right here though:

That is what did it to him. Cloud saves are a wonderful thing and if Origin did not have them people would be all Boohoo Steam has this. Problem is the game settings are stored there as well which are there for the same reason. Most people don't want to have to redo everything when they reinstall. Would be nice to have a better keybind system and or a way to load it.

Anytime you edit a local file it will be out of sync with the cloud save. Seems the problem here is the single player data is not syncing to the desktop at all? I would classify that as a bug but it is possible it was by design, i doubt it since like BF3 if the system is offline it will launch into single player.
