BF4 Directx Error

Hey guys,

As usual I have a fucking problem with BF4 working right. Bad enough this game is buggy, glitched, hit reg issues, on and on...

Anyway I am getting a directx error all of a sudden. Ready to say fuck battlefield, cause it's fucking garbage anyway..

Any help appreciated.

I remember I had that issue one day and not the next. I tried everything from re-install of Directx, the game and repair the game. I dont think there is a for sure answer.

LOL is there ever? I've never seen a game with so many issues as Battlefield. Incredible.

You sound exactly like me with my old 6990. My fix was reinstalling the DX package along with using a beta driver from AMD, and running in windowed mode for 2 patches... yeah, BF4 is a real piece of shit.

It's sad when I'm more excited about CoD's new game then the possibility of a BF2143 sequel...

It's crazy that you guys have so much trouble with newer cards and BF4, while I still run a 4850 and I can run BF4 with no problems (minus that I have to run it at a tad lower resolution to have enough FPS to play it than BF3).

It is probably a bogus error. I had that once and it immediately went away.

It is not so much trouble with graphics cards as its patches DiCE puts out that breaks or hinders performance. Especially those who run a dual GPU card or two separate cards in Sli or Crossfire. Just a horribly coded game.
