BF4 - Disciplined Weapons Testing
All,
I would like to propose that when BF4 comes out we start doing weapons testing. As you may or may not know there was a clan that did this early on in BF3 and it was amazing to see the numbers that came out of the testing. They got hitbox information, distance information, recoil information, and ultimately the list proved out what the best weapons were.
While the information is now a few patches behind, some of the weapons won't surprise you. I am posting a link to the chart into this thread to give us an idea of what we can accomplish when BF4 comes out.
Spreadsheet version: http://bit.ly/bf3weaponstats <---- Works fine in IE but not FF or anything where you have Google Docs cookies.
GUI version: http://symthic.com/bf3-weapon-charts
As they did one of us will stand on an MCOM - the other will walk away from the MCOM 25, or 50, or 100 meters (the MCOM shows you distance you are from it), then the person who walked away fires a single shot at the person on the MCOM - the result is our damage.
