Hey mate...first of all i'd like to formally apologize about that TV hellfire base rape the other day...Sorry. It wont happen again.
Now, lets get down to buisness......TV missiles are my BANE!!!!!!!! Any pointers on how to dodge them frequently?
I've watched you fly from the ground for a while now, and one thing ive noticed, is you go in range for YOUR gunner to launch TV at enemy helo then you back up. Dig it, never had the common sense to do that.
Anywho, I'll understand if you dont wanna give up the family recipe, but if ya have anything willing to throw out, ill take the bone!
 
That is the best strategy, unfortunately without voice chat and a good gunner you are pretty much fucked every time. Random pilots will fly for their rockets nose down fuck the gunner, and random gunners will give your position away and not shoot TV's when they should. It's a team effort as such the luck of the draw without voice communication is almost always bad news. You came to the right place for flying advice though, this really is Battlefields "FIGHTERTOWN USA".
 
Sweet thanks,,,I been playiing with some of the DD cats and man.....your CAS efficiency goes up about 98% almost instantly if you have coms. Since the patch and tweaks made to choppers and stingers, I have adjusted my strategy...the old maps like caspian, i still can be aggresive. But the AK maps ive REALLY had ot change my strategy to not being AS agressive(and less greedy) a lot...but playing with a smurf as yer gunner,makes it tough...Ive been using that get in range and back up strat and my dodging TVs has gone up from 1-5 to 3-5...And as far as rockets goes, if I can get at least 75% of them to hit...and my gunner hits a TV, threat wiill be eliminated...and if not...a burst or two with the cannon ends that engagement. In hte cobra, im very comfortable with my agility and flying low; but now adays ive been adjusting fire on that..cuz a lot of these tankers are getting better at shooting me outta the sky, which as you said ReNNO, its my job ot srvive, so i think i wil start applying that. In armored kill the mobile artillery have devastating AS rockets, keep away from the unless you get the jump.

Will do....cant stand smurf gunners....8% are decent, and 2% are very solid...the last 90% are a waste...i mite as well pilot/gun swap myself and be more efficient!
 
TV tips

Have TcRenno as gunner #1. This will increase hit accuracy by 99 %. #2 Yes, get in range and back out, # 3 learn what type of tv'er is shooting against you and adapt to counter his tv. #4 Make a count down for the next TV and be ready for it. :D Hope that helps.
