Boeing Engineers Just Came Up With a New Supersonic Airliner

"Of course, this doesn't mean that Boeing is going to build the Sonic Cruiser anytime soon. But it's nice to know that someone is working in making it possible one day."

Actually getting it patented means they are preventing anyone else from making it. Would be pretty cool but the Concorde went under for a reason, it's illegal to fly supersonic in US airspace, I'd be willing to bet the same rule applies in Europe.
