I somehow wanted to randomly listen to this song yesterday. For some reason it was in my head, so I got the brilliant idea to look it up on youtube and see who did it first and perhaps get the video. I guess it was first ever performed by "The Four Voices" (some acapella band) but never really got famous. Then, apparently Brian Hyland was really the one who made it "take off."

So... I saw the video. It's pretty good alright, but there's some pretty weird dancing in it. It's not exactly funny, but it's like WTF. I mean... it's just interesting to see what "song videos" seem to have been back then. And the background dancers... and the people at 1:11 and 1:33... Enough said, just watch it. It's kind of hypnotic actually... 037

In the beginning, it looks like the background dancers farted and were trying to wave it away and walk it out! And I think that's Soulzz mom at 1:33
