Broke ass game

So for some reason or another I could not play Second Assault maps. Battlelog would give me the "missing content" error and give me das boot. All of the other DLCs and the vanilla run fine with no issues. After messing with the registry, installation files, battlelog web plugins, EA tech support and fellow members. I just decided to nuke it and do a fresh install. Joy.

Welcome to the club! I've had to do that once already and it sucked ass. Sadly, I'm getting the same error now on some DLC game modes.
 
Well with your almost 200mb download you'll be back in no time eh? Gotta love speed. =)

Could be a reason why see issues with DLC maps in a couple of our servers. Players getting error messages?
 
I am glad I have been playing more of BF3 lately - all its issues are kind of resolved. Until they totally patch it to shit like 2142.
 
That sucks. You should backup the game data after you download it. If you need to reinstall you can just copy the data back to the location. wipe the data and start to download it, pause the download, copy the backup data, restart download and it will pick up the new files..... if I remember correctly.

Gotta also do a registry fix as well if you go this route for the DLC.
