Can't wait until Wednesday to get my new G933 Headset

Finally after waiting what seems forever I am getting my new Logitech G933 Wireless 7.1 Headset.

I used the G930 since it was released until now and can not say one bad thing about it, so this one should be the same quality wise just way improved sound wise. Just can't wait to see the DTS surround sound. Also like the feature if I ever decide to get a console I can use this headset with it.

I tried all the supposed "BEST" headsets last year being the Astro A40's, A50's, Turtle Beach, and platronics and went back to the logitech g930's so that is why i am so excited about these new g933's.

What a lot of people don't understand about headsets is everyone's ears are different. What might sound the best to you, might sound like crap to someone else. That is why I recommend trying multiple headsets that you might like before making a decision of what you are going to play with. Don't just buy the most expensive or best rated headset without trying it first. That is why stores have return policies, and i highly recommend you use that policy when it comes to headsets. I am also a huge Wireless Fan and there is no difference in sound quality between wired and wireless once you have tried it.

i had Sennheisers before and they were great for music but gaming for me. Also POLK audio makes headsets now, but like Sennheiser they are great for music, not gaming. I think once companies like Polk and Sennheiser get more into the gaming headset market they will take over. I am still suprised BOSE hasn't made a good gaming headset yet.

But like I said, everyone's ears are different. What sounds good to one person might sound like shit to someone else.
 
i like my platronics i have big ears and they cover without giving me a fuckin headache after more than an hour of wear. ive had logitech wasnt a fan but as you said everyone likes different feels sounds all the factors

My logitech's where one of the only true OVER THE EAR headsets I could find. Any headset that won't go over my ear and rub on the cloth material rubs my ears raw and is very painful. Like I said, use companies return policies to find the right headset for you. The funny thing is, the set you find that fits and sounds the best to you might not be the most expensive. That is why I try and tell people use your 15 or 30 day return policy to your advantage!
 
I have plantronics after someone here recommended them and they are awesome, not 7.1 but for the price they are durable and have lasted a long time.
Definitely give a review after you have had them for a while I would love to get a 7.1 set of wireless headphones.
 
a decent sound card and a bad ass set of headphones is great combo. plenty of tweaks you can make to the EQ to make gaming amazing
 
Senhieser already makes gaming headsets, I have the game zeros and they are amazing. Only downside is they need an amp to power them.
 
I love Sennheiser, for good reason. Every Sennheiser headset I've owned has lasted at least 5+ years.
 
Those Germans know how to build good quality merchandise, gotta pay a premium but well worth it.

The logitech G930's are 7.1 surround also and like i said, THEY ARE GREAT!. the G933's can only be better
 
Whatever makes you happy. I dropped the $$$ on a pair of Sennheiser game ones after trying a shit ton of different headset brands and I'm hooked for life. Hope you enjoy your new ones.
