with all jokes aside the story is pretty amazing. Still shocks me that "gangs" are still a huge problem. ugh and the story about the two girls stabbing another child what 19 times ? wtf is going on..

gANGS? still a huge problem? The "thug life" is soooooo freaking appealing to kids who are raised in that environment. It is easy money, fun, and represents a false sense of pride to youths who do not have discipline in their lives. Also, gang leaders and promoters dont get to their stations with out having a silver tongue and being charasmatic. Not to mention soooo much in american society promotes it and welcomes it.

You're absolutely right, if i was at a young age in the type of neighborhood similar to theirs that option would be available ..it was to my brother. In fact it took my brother years to escape the "thug" life of course his method of income wasn't so great he did what he did till it came to the point of either spend your time in prison or get your shit straight. But this whole initiation thing is stupid all of it is really just plain stupid.
 
When my boys were young, we moved away from the city. I let nature raise the kids. Fuck the concrete jungle.
