That's insanse. It doesn't even look real. The furthest point of the sinkhole looks too smooth and it's all the same tone of black.

Hope they don't bring one here.

I think it was an old water pipe that went bad the same day we got a lot of rain. I flooded yesterday. DG got hit hard with hours of rain. I posted a video on FB of a stream which is now a raging river in people's back yard. I'm going in to the city tomorrow. I'll see if I can get to the scene and take some pix's.

The reason for it is he is shooting into the light. The only thing that can light the furthest point in the sinkhole is reflected light. With the camera metered to not blow highlights it leaves the shadows pretty dark. The light on the front of that Bravada for example is coming from another vehicle.
