As Cinco de Mayo (May 5) approaches, I know a lot of people celebrate it. First off it's not Mexico's Independence day, that's September 16. Cinco de Mayo celebrates the Battle of Puebla in 1862 when it was 2,000 badly equipped Mexicans vs. 6,000 French soldiers in a time when the French army was considered the best in the world. The French got owned in that battle!

Now about the alcohol...I know Corona is pretty popular and I'll drink it from time to time but I want to mention other drinks I like. FYI Corona Extra has 4.6% alcohol

4.5% alcohol. I've only tried the green bottle and it was really smooth, I've never bought it, it was only offered but I would buy it

Even better is this dark lager with 5.4% alcohol, I have gotten drunk on this and it's pretty fun. The first time I drank it I thought, "this stuff is weak I don't feel it at all, and what's with this tiny bottle? I need to grab more of these to feel anything" haha then it snuck up on me and I was feeling real nice. I have nicknamed these bottles "snub nose" because they hold 12oz just like the longnecks.

As for tequila, as long as it's not Sauza I'll drink it. Eh ok I would drink Sauza but I hope it would do something to me because years ago I felt like I wasted money because I for real didn't feel a buzz, just a letdown.

Cheap tequila that does the job damn well. I've only tried the clear but I would try the others!

I'm not sure how much this costs since I just had some at a friends house but this tequila from Costco was surprisingly nice, I would buy it for sure!

Jose Cuervo doesn't even need a picture, I'm sure many of you already know about that.

I would post about food and music but maybe another day.
As for me on 5 de Mayo, I'll probably have my usual malt liquor and get a pint of el Jimador blanco.

What do you guys drink, eat, listen to, do, for 5 de Mayo?
 
I live in Arizona.. lot's of La Raza here...Lot's of death and DUI's and police checkpoints on that weekend..so, I stay at home, and let the rookies have at it.
 
ill stick to the beers modelo is damn good the others aren't bad but fuck the tequila I still get sick just smelling it after a rough night I had years ago from it

I've been there, I've gagged just seeing commercials for hard liquor after a rough night of drinking it but that goes away after a week tops.

If you like Corona there is a similar beer called Sol, which I prefer given the choice. If you can still find it the silver Red Bull (lime) mixed with Patron is awesome. I'm also a sucker for margaritas on the rocks just house or texas. Sometimes I throw some key limes in the juicer and make fresh mix. I might have to do that this weekend.
 
nice call Slick! I haven't tried Sol yet, and ya I personally think Corona is overrated but yes I will still drink it if someone offers it

my friend made some bomb margaritas by putting some ice in a blender, some canned pineapple juice, and some of the tequila below. I'm not sure what ratio she used but when she wasn't looking I added more tequila in round 2 because round 1 had me buzzing nice but I wanted more. I highly recommend this tequila if you're going to make margaritas

Can't stand frozen margaritas. I like to sip and lick the salt. While we're on the topic. Why do I see women ASKING for salt yet they drink it through the straw and don't even touch the salt? That tequila looks good though. As long as its blue agave.
 
everyone has different tastes, I say fuck the salt, fuck the lemon, take it straight I mean you're already not taking the tequila straight so at least take the flavored stuff straight but that's just me. As a side-note in the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather Jr fight, the National Anthem for Mexico was just sang in respect for the upcoming 5 de Mayo.

since you like licking...put some powdered sugar or honey on a womans tit and lick, maaaan even go with some ice to get her.....nevermind I'll shut up I'm drunk

Yeah I heard you on GTA V talking to that chick about MMA and some implanted chick named Sable or something. Your Turtle Beach has quite a bit of static though.

If I want to get straight up shitfaced then yeah shots are nice. Sometimes I just want savor a drink. Like bloody marys or a nice samosa on a sunday morning.
 
I'm savoring shit tonight, get on GTA teamspeak homie! there was just this one fool killing her and another one of my friends so I called him out then he got quiet but anyways get on the TBG teamspeak, let's do some missions
 
I am only rarely on at 4AM. This was one of those nights where you get drunk early in the day and then wake up around that time. With that being said the GTA V online experience for me is miserable. I can play sometimes but mostly freemode is a waste of time and I'm lucky if I can do some contact missions.

I'm basically going into story mode lately but I still will try to hit you up online if possible.
 
yeah i can stay in free mode np while in solo or crew sessions, often kick during missions not sure if social club hates me or what. BUT i love online! so i will keep trying no matter how many times it kicks me.
PBR awesome, alone, at parties or even sitting on the commode. Keystone is good but i drink that like it was water. Gimme clear tequila and i'll go ape shit on it. RAWR
My personal choice is brandy eb&j is cheap but damn good for the flask. Makers mark is mighty fine in my opinion.
