Cruise missile crashing commander out of game?

Just wondering if this is a coincidence or if this is a bug in the game but when I zoom in after firing the cruise missile as commander, it's crashing the game on me right before the cruise missile hits. Has happened three times in a row tonight and I'm wondering if it's just shitty luck on my part or if this is an actual problem and I should avoid using the cruise missile as commander.

I just crashed as commander launching the cruse missile about 15 mins ago. Seems if you kill more than 3 people you crash. I think I won't command on my PC I'll stick with the iPad program it seems not to have a problem
