Well guys, I am a huge cult(horror) film connoisseur....I just watched a half-ass but not waste of 84 minutes of my life that I'd thought I might share. A flick called "Contracted" (on netflix). Acting was kind of slow at the start, but the main character(easy on the eyes brunette) ended up putting on a pretty bad ass performance. Character development was almost non-existent, plot was pretty much like pulling teeth; I say that because you knew what was going to happen, but it was 83minutes and 30 seconds of foreplay. I love movies that end like this one did.

If you enjoy B movies, and non-typical "esque' " horror films(though not sure that is right way to explain it), this flick might be up your alley. It wasn't mainstream by any means, but had a few parts that kinda made me cringe and like FUCK YEA!!; awesome at the same time. For 15,000 USD it cost to make it, not too shabby!

Some of my favorite B movie cult classics:

The Live http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096256/

My all time favorite-Army of Darkness; don't forget Evil Dead and Evil Dead II-all parts of the trilogy

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106308/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Zorro the gay blade
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095444/

And who could forget this classic? Attack of the Killer Tomatoes http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080391/?ref_=nv_sr_1

And because I love this actor: My Name Is Bruce...http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0489235/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Ah, I almost forgot this little gem. Gindhouse: Planet Terror. I love the Tarrentino over the top obviously fake blood and guts. Plus, a chick with an M16 for a lower leg gets me going :) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1077258/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

How about Spaceballs?..." I see your schwartz is as big as mine!" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094012/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

OR An American Werwolf in London? "Thanks for the ride, sir. You have lovely sheep."

Oooh. Harold and Maude circa 1971 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067185/trivia?tab=qt&ref_=tt_trv_qu

"
Harold: You sure have a way with people.

Maude: Well, they're my species!"

And THE original Death Race...Death Race 2000 with Sylvester Stallone and David Carradine http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072856/trivia?tab=qt&ref_=tt_trv_qu

"Well America, there you have it, Frankenstein has just been attacked by the French Air Force and he's whipped their derrieres!"

oh man attack of killer tomatoes! hadnt heard that in a while! I got my 10year old stepson to watch Critters with me....He doesnt like scary movies too much, so I had to coax him into by telling him it was the same movie that Raphael went to go see right before playing Cricket in the park with Casey Jones!

Sam Raimi and Bruce "Don't call me Ash" Cambell definitely made a bad ass set of movies! One of my favorite trilogies. Bubba Ho Tep was a good one too that Bruce absolutely smashed that performance.

Puppet Master was pretty good. the first 3 were about it, then it started to get fucking weird.

I tried to watch another one of those Docu/blair witch/Paranormal haunting type movies called "The Taking of Deborah Logan", got about 50 minutes into it and was like yea, this is fucking stupid. It kills me that movies/plots/actors cant turn on fucking lights when something is awry. Ohhhh, it's to increase the scariness? bull shit...fucking stupid is what it is. Poor Screenplay too

oh yea! hadn't seen that one in a while.
I am a fan of his "cartoonish" blood and guts.
Though Tom Savini(and his school) has got special effects on lock down as far as blood/guts/make-up. Would have to say Day of the Dead first zombie you see is still one of the best zombies in a movie of all times.

Lucio Fulci though, Zombie (1978 i think) was pretty epic. The fucking zombie vs shark......wtf over? WHO DOES THAT!? (not to mention prolly the best music theme in a zombie movie ever...except the Jamaican song)'
