Elite's dedicated PVP mode has been repackaged and is now available as a standalone game. For £5 which is pathetically cheap.
You don't get the vast open universe, politics, exploration or and you don't get the hours of grinding your way up to a ship that can take on all comers. You do get DM, CTF and TDM modes and a bunch of fighters, instant respawn and no way to lose out. Well worth a look guys.
