Getting doxxed?

So I been playing on TBG's BF4 servers for a while now, really appreciate the community. Sure, run into toxic players once a while but that's everywhere and you guys keep in check quite well. Have I been the best of myself always, no, but I know there are some lines you don't cross and everyone are dealing with different s*it in their life.

This one regular I seem to really trigger sometime, even though he best me most of the time I never see the guy as an enemy and nothing stands out from our interaction. Until couple days ago he got really triggered somehow and started to say he knows my age and repeat it over and over. I admit, somewhat embarrassingly, it is unnerving. In this day and age, getting doxxed and stories about players getting swatted is no hypothetical matter. What's unnerving is I have no idea how he did it. I don't have much social media presence but this came right after I posted a "player to watch out for" thread which did get someone banned. The thread also got a video cap from youtube I posted. I know youtube use AI to guess everyone's age so I wonder if this is somehow linked.

Anyway I want to get this off my chest. I still hope to be around, but I'm here to have fun and it's hasn't been fun thinking about this.

We only have to be careful with the information that is put out on the internet. Other than that, nothing we can do but I wouldn’t worry so much about it.

You are welcome to message me privately this player’s name and I can take a look at it. If necessary, we will ban him from all our servers and possibly have them added to battlefield agency ban list for toxicity

Thanks

Thanks for listening. I honestly don't wish for this person to be banned. As I said, I have no history with this player who is a regular, other than he gets salty with everyone a bit when things aren't going his way.

And well, you know what, I'm blind, I just noticed that the age is displayed right under our icon in the forum posting. That's a bit of a shocker as I never paid attention to it before. That makes me breath easier. I AM OLD, compares to a lot of players but I been gaming since PONG and those arcade machines that eats quarters all day. Like many of my GenX peers, we are quite good at computers because we had to, stuff like expended memory manager, sound blaster.. etc., just to play games. Stuff that kids these days don't have deal with. I have no issue with my age, other than someone parade that info like some trophy. There are something I feel are out of limit, race, gender, national origins, and age. You know, things that out of our control.

In any case, I consider the matter closed. Best Regards,

Oh, it be nice to have privacy info default into the most restrictive if that's possible.
