any body buy gta 5 today? is it just me or do the graphics fucking blow?? other then that i only played for 5 minutes couldnt handle how bad it looked.. plus there are no weapon cheat codes wtf?

I picked it up for 360, but its the first time I have turned on my Xbox in over a year. My Live membership ran out, so I can't game online...whatever.
My initial reaction to the game was, "Holy shit, these graphics are terrible!" My buddy suggested I at least give it a shot and frankly the story is quite entertaining. I am about 2hrs in and although I am not fiend-ing for it like I am BF4, its a decent game.

Also, I forgot how poor controllers are for shooters...
 
I just got it for PS3, the graphics dont seem to be better than 4 was, and 4 also seemed to be much smoother when it came to controlling the toon or driving. I am being unfair with only like an hour of gameplay so far. plus the fucking cops keep getting in my way whence trying to boost a plane...lol
 
Went in at lunch the other day and I was the only customer at the local Gamestop. Also, malls are typically bad ju-ju. Too many kids despite school being in session. Still not sure how kids are done with school at 9AM (block scheduling?), get a job or go to college....
 
Dragbag the game doesn't go live online until Oct.1st I believe, the main developer was on my favorite radio show the last couple days talking with the guys about it. He puts them in a voice over roll in every GTA and dead red. HeatSurge the studio doesn't have to pay for bad publicity, EVERY fucking time a new GTA comes out it is within days of a mass shooting. The game would move double the numbers if it didn't have to contend with butthurt mums.
 
Are we not talking about the US? GTA game out the 17th.
Just relating my experience of going to purchase GTA on release day. Evidently the midnight launch was crowded.

I have to say this game has grown on me. The point at which I realized this was when I was using the character Trevor, riding a crotch rocket through a lumber mill listening to Higher Love by Steve Winwood. There is a quote by Trevor that made me piss myself, but I cannot recall it at this time. Something to do with hookers and cuddling.
 
i played it a few more times this week, i find the dialog is terrible when playing as the black guy and Michaels character is terrible..homie this homie that nigga this nigga that, fucking retarded to listen to.
 
xbox is bad. but then again, old ps3s jumped from 20eur to 200eur when gta v came out over here
