After shooting a band I was headed to keep an eye on someone who just got out of rehab when I get a call asking if I can come in and try and pull a plate off a video. Already knew it was hopeless but went in and downloaded the dvr to my phone and transfered it to my laptop.

Video:
<object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/1R-JfXEha-Y?version=3&feature=player_detailpage"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/1R-JfXEha-Y?version=3&feature=player_detailpage" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="360"></object>

A little early to be drunk, no clue what his deal was. Before you think rims are steelis and the hub caps fell off of, nah thats just his black rims which are a little dark for a silver car lol.

female driver lol? how do you fuck that up????? wow is all....

Dumbass still thinks someone is going to be able to go CSI on this lol. The plate is like 8 pixels wide the letters are smaller than a pixel.

lol i really dont understand how people fuck up like this, driving is not that hard. Backing in and parallel parking is not that hard, if you manage to fuck up like this you should not be on the road period. Thats why i think you should have to do the G test every 5 years.

Well we know its red. Think its a chevy colorado. newer. Find the guy in the black car. Mybe he can tell you what it said on the side of the truck.

Ya see here. Ya get what you paid for with the cheap cameras.

I am actually with the cop on this one. Its a 97 plus F150 supercab with a cap on it. Bumper is the non chrome not paint to match, i forget what the option was i never sold any of those. There is just enough detail from light hitting the curve above the rocker area to confirm.

Moving this out to public now that the manager knows I have the video.

Just the fact that it has something on the side of the truck lets you know, most likely, that it either belongs to a business or it belongs to someone who is self-employed and therefore has it registered as a work truck or w/e they do.

Yeah well given the vicinity that describes 1 in 10 people. In fact i cant connect more than 5 people together without one of them being a contractor/worker/business owner with a work truck. Make, Model, year range and color help a little. I know what color code that is actually so it will put it down to specific years. Its just a damn shame the video isnt twice the res. I still wouldnt be able to get a plate but I could narrow the truck down to 2 years and maybe, just maybe figure the logo out.

Its a Maryland plate. Likely if we put up a few fliers someone will know who it is. Pretty sure we will find this person unless they don't live within 20 miles. The fact that the cop didn't know the vehicle means the person likely doesn't live within 5 miles and is in one of the surrounding areas.

Im going to send the video up to the parts manager for the dealer I used to work at. He actually lives down the street from the store and might have seen it before, but he can at least give a shot at telling me a couple things on the truck to narrow it down.
