Help I accidentally built half a door.

Not really but. The roofer left me a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood so I replaced the baby gate with a half door.

I REALLY did not want to use plywood for this. I will paint it once I get it sanded down and fill in the imperfections.

I really wanted to fit a door knob. But having to reach over to unlock it anyway the gate latch is just easier even if it does look a bit ghetto.

Last time the landlord was here he said that was his next thing to do. But really the floor is fine. Just need to cut the carpet back and throw a small rug there.
