I got some good news today. The gallery plugin I intend to use for Xenforo currently only functions as a site wide gallery and has been under heavy development this year to not only bring user galleries but many other features. The developer posted today that v2.0 just entered closed beta meaning the wait is almost over. Its unclear the release date but hoping to have it on the site January 1st...
I for one really wish we had galleries. Not only that but I really wanted a gallery system that let you easily post the images in a thread. So when you build that new system you can upload it to your gallery AND post it in a thread without attaching separate images. That's going to happen and while for registered users space might be limited to non existent all donators will be given space.
We currently have a video gallery plugin but no one uses it. The good news is this is actually part of the picture gallery. What I hope to see is that when people post montages they also add them to their personal gallery. Problem with our current plugin is it sucks. Adding a video isn't that easy and there is no easy way to let members have their own category. Much nicer to hit up your own profile and see your videos folder in the gallery section.
