Hey guys, I've been absent for a few months now! You have my sincerest apologies for not alerting you all ahead of time, I feel bad for just poofing away. Summary of what's been going on:
I've been checking out different colleges and planning what I'd like to do, and between that I've been moving between crappy jobs to find something decent and keep up gas money and travel money. I've been traveling around with Karen between Dallas, Louisiana, Georgia and LA to help support her small roles in film and attend any "red carpet" events with her (not as fancy as you'd think, trust me). I'll be continuing to do this, but this time of the year things are slowing down for her which gives me time to prioritize my life a bit more, which means gaming, getting together with friends (IRL/Online) and focusing on my education/hobbies. I'm back in Austin, back with my computer (I upgraded to a GTX Gigabyte 970! and 24GBs of ram, so that will be a big help for 3D modeling/animation/ Unreal SDK map work. The only times I've had much of a chance to game were in her trailer with a really bad laptop (which is why I avoided games like BF4 (poor connection, poor framerate etc), so it's nice to have the ability to get back and play with you guys! I've missed y'all for a while, especially you Homebrew, Bandit, Rekless, Lobo Soulzz, Scotty, Irishian, Ash, and obviously plenty of the other wonderful and welcoming folks here. I can't apologize enough for not giving a heads up as I SHOULD have. It's not just irresponsible but it's rude, and could be considered offensive. I am truly sorry.
I'm not trying to justify anything, even with a crap connection I could have hopped on teamspeak and at the very least said hello, I don't know if I felt too preoccupied or awkward to do so, but the point is that I didn't. I hope none of you feel like I didn't care about you guys, or that I ditched you. I hope y'all don't mind me being back, and I really look forward to just catching up and having some fun.
