How is what this company doing any different than what other 3D printing companies are doing other than they decided to use their own material. Every company wants a reason to be different even if that difference doesnt matter. At this point they're printing titanium jaw bones.
There is a company that prints entire vehicle parts for GM so they can mock things up before actually making the first part. GM's requirements are simpler in that they don't need existing parts scanned but that technology at its current state is a decade old.

Wut, and im excluding the beam maker at NASA that eats solid chunks of aluminum and spits structures out a few feet later. Shit Soulzz read engadget from time to time lol. People make 3D printers out of old inkjets in their basement all the time.
