IGN was able to get Danny Bilson to answer some questions regarding Homefront.
GN: Has a sequel been green lit?
Bilson: All I'm allowed to say is we have a lot of plans for the future of Homefront that we'll be rolling out over the next few months, we do. I have a lot of plans; they're pretty interesting and unique. We intend to grow the online multiplayer over the year with a robust downloadable content plan which we haven't announced yet. To be honest with you, I see Battlefield 3 on the horizon and the bar is going up. So we need to do some careful thinking on the production side because the competition looks amazing.
IGN: What's more important to you right now? A marketing budget or a development budget? And you can't say both.
Bilson: A development budget. With me, it's all about the game. Emotionally for me, I'm much more wrapped up in people's response to the product. I still am. I'm loving marketing, our team is doing great work, but still, people aren't buying marketing, they're buying the game.
IGN also reports that Homefront sold 1 million copies in the first week and as of to day, shipped 2.4 million copies worldwide
