Resting your fingers on the other buttons will likely be semi obvious to a person looking for this very technique. The resting fingers will have a very large impact where as the real presses won't. Since I don't have 350 bucks or an iphone to play with the idea all id say is on a small keypad like that resting the entire hand on it afterwards might be as or more effective.
