A buddy of mine I grew up with lives to kite surf in Georgia, trying to remember the island where I assume he lives because ALL of his FB posts are from there. Just checked, Tybee Island in Georgia and he does live there.

I have seen it a few times out at ocean shores Washington and on a few lakes here in Seattle. They are hauling ass it looks like a lot of fun.

only bad thing is it is a pretty pricey sport, but then again most hobbies are!
