I built this last year, the rocket is 9.5 feet tall, weighs 36 pounds and has a 12" shell on top. I've been building fireworks for years and know most of the serious builders in North America and nobody has heard of a whistle rocket this big so I'm claiming the damn record. I think it could be the biggest in the world, but they make some MASSIVE black powder rockets in the Phillipines and Thailand so who knows. I'm holding the rocket at the beginning of the video. Sound is weak because I filmed it from a half mile away, and to generate the thrust you need to carry a 12" shell you have to sacrifice some of the sound for thrust.
