I was eyeballing this game last week and finally decided to preorder it.

You save $1.50 for preordering (lulz), but the real goodness is playing the beta.
My personal impressions are: gunplay is very well-done and satisfying. It's very easy and quick to fire it up, get into a game and play a few rounds for 1/2 hour, and it's a lot of fun. It does have a few stupid things, but the developers are very actively updating it.
It has a lot of fun game modes like steal the gold, destroy objectives (by carrying dynamite there and shooting it), conquest (flag capture), etc.
I've had fun playing with random peeps, but it should be a LOT more fun with a TBG gang ;-)
6vs6 max (it's still a lot of fun) with potential for more - devs are looking into balancing issues and netcode.
The only big shit right now is that there are no dedicated servers, but the devs are working on them and they said they should be available by release on Thursday (Apr 8) or very shortly thereafter.
If you don't like it, you can actually CANCEL the preorder for a full refund, before the release date, so it's a "try before you buy" deal right now.
Personally, I'm keeping it no matter what. It's a lot of fun.
Oh, one more thing - you'd better have an adequate PC, because it doesn't have any graphical settings right now, except resolution and shadow quality. It does work perfectly on a GTX 260 core 216 at 1920x1080 (60fps+ constant). I'm not sure about others. Developers are working on more graphical options :-D .
I've heard it's built on the same graphical engine as bionic commando.
Let me know if you have any Qs.
