Lifeguard sacked after saving drowning man outside his beach patrol
A young lifeguard in Florida has lost his job after rescuing a drowning man in a section of beach he was not assigned to patrol, local news media reported on Wednesday.


Iran 'ready to attack US bases'
Iran declared on Wednesday that it can destroy nearby US military bases and strike Israel within minutes of an attack on the Islamic Republic, reflecting tensions over Iran's suspect nuclear programme.

Though the source of the comment and the comment itself are just the general pat on the back every country gives itself. The comment assumes the other guy is laying down and taking it in the ass which aint happening here buddy.

I don't think they would be able to even launch the missiles before getting blown up... 30 minutes of time is not much, i know you can do it in less than one minute in the states, but in Iran, don't think so.
 
Israel has nuclear weapons as well, just to bring another helping of fun to the table. Dig in everyone!
 
Iran is going to end up being bombed to hell and back by Israel alone. You don't piss of Israel. Israel is always on Future Weapons with some new bad ass weapon they have invented. Iran will become a testing ground for new weapons and such. This is a conflict that no one even needs nukes. And if the U.S. did first strike on Tehran, I call for a 1 megaton bomb to be used. Why 1 megaton? Just for sheer shits and giggles.

You can thank lawyers for that lifeguard being fired, if the company wasn't so worried about being sued they would have given him a pat on the back and not his walking papers. As for Iran, they have no reason not to run off at the mouth. They know this administration will go to any lengths to prevent Israel from attacking Iran, even publicly divulging secret Israeli plans. Iran is safe as can be at least until January.
 
Good on the guys who resigned rather than keep working for the company. I hope I'd have the balls to do the same.

Hmm, why do you say til next January? Do you think the next president (I don't predict Obama winning this time) will have the balls to run a campaign against Iran?

I don't think the next president will scuttle a military strike by Israel by leaking covert plans. Until January we can count on the continuation of leaking classified information to further policy or campaigning.

Lol, so you're saying the next president of the U.S. will or wont stop Israel from attacking Iran? I don't believe the next president will stop Israel from first strike against Iranian targets (nuclear facilities). Iran is getting pretty cocky these days too. I want to see them even point a missile of any kind at a U.S. base; I want to see the consequences. Not that I want them to attack a U.S. base. If they did, full scale nuclear strike from the U.S. would probably be the retaliation.

Speaking of wars: I am currently playing World in Conflict: Soviet Assault. $10 on Steam for the gold or whatever edition. Great game.
 
Israel doesn't have enough firepower itself to take out all of Iran's nuclear plants by air and missiles. They have quote a bit but it would be a huge stretch and probably wouldnt work. They would definitely need another country to help out and split it with

Total BS that it took a news story to get him re-hired though. Lame. Glad he was reinstated, but still lame.
