I've been searching for a new loadout to suit my playstyle. Usable on big map conquest. I am mainly seeking a support loadiut, as its the one of played the least. My normal style is looking for flanking or defending one spot.I like supressors when possible.any ideas?

For longer range support i love the rpk or the l85. Both have very to easy recoil to manage. L85 is better up close due to higher fire rate. Rpk is a more stable medium range weapon. Ive seen some people clean house using the mg36. As for attachments either flash supressor for decreased vertical recoil or ext mag. I am a huge fan of the kobra sight... easy to aquire targets at close to med range, open field of view, and nothing obstructs your periphials. I use nothing in the 2nd attachment slot. Side arm depends on how quick and accurate you are on first shot and follow ups. I use rex in all scenarios. Fast firing, accurate, and packs a punch. Downside is reload time. As for your tools... i use scoped xbow. This is what i use if i run support on a large map. Belt fed lmgs can be effective at range when bipoded but they are not optimal for movement.

I was using the MG36 earlier today and kinda liked it.
I glanced at Symthic and basically the MG36, M27, and L86 are all basically similar, main differences are range and accuracy. I like having additional ammo for flanking, get to take out more enemies, but you are right the big ones really need bipods.

I kinda like the m27, plus its range is oddly enough better that the l86. Also those things get heavy barrels..so I will definitely try them out some more.
As far as sidearm goes, I haven't had much luck with the rex mainly due to the rather poor iron sights. I kinda prefer the .44.

AS Val. Sure its lower damage. But accurate. Silenced. Takes getting used to, but it's my go to gun in support, engie and recon. Look it up on Symthic. That site turned me in to it.

AS Val I have used in the past, give it another go. I've also been experimenting with the QBZ.

My favorite support lmg is the Type 88. I know most folks don't use it, but I found the ROF is good for suppression, the recoil is not bad (far less than 240B, M60 or Porkchop). It carries a crap load with the extended mag. I use the ACOG outside and the IRNV in the metro or at night.

RPK or L86 are definitely worth thinking about. Stick a 3.4x scope on there and be prepared to switch to single shot at long range. I'd prefer a bipod to a foregrip for those occasions when I'm trying to embarrass a sniper. Less recoil = less time for them to find cover.

But try a few and settle on a gun that you can use well. Choose a pistol that contrasts with the strengths of your main gun - if you use a sniper rifle, pick the G18 or 93R. If you settle on a shotgun or PDW, pick the .44 scoped.

Carrying an xbow will let you snipe, scout and kill vehicles with any kit. C4 is a candidate for obvious reasons. Claymores will get you a few kills if you place them properly.

So I tried the AS Val for several rounds and came to a conclusion. Something's changed about my aim or something because it felt really inaccurate to me.

As val is a gun that tKes time getting used to it. You really have to feather it.

Your right, and after remembering to burst I definitely remember why I liked this gun so much. I don't think the crossbow complements it well though. What sidearm might complement it? I was thinking G18 S to remain stealthy.

RPK w/ heavy barrel, foregrip and Kobra is awesome to bump fire. I carry the Rex with it and C4 and have a lot of fun on support. =)

L86 is my thing on support. Close range to "sniping" with a holographic and extended mag to keep the party going. For a side arm I use the Rex. If you get caught on reload with the L86 the Rex can hold me over until it itself runs through my ammo pool.

I never got used to the L85 on assault. Not sure why.
