- Homebases will spot anyone near it and display them on your minimap, much like a TUGS
- Explosives and 50 caliber weaponry (deagle, pickup sniper, etc) can destroy shutter gates (like on Shanghai). They can also blow doors of MRAPs so you can shoot the passengers.
- If you have a Defibrillator in your loadout, pressing use above a revivable teammate instantly equips the defibrillator.
- Enemy medic/ammo bags can resupply and heal you. This also works with enemy commander crates.
- The DS-3 decoy gadgets emits audio in the form of footsteps and gunshots.
- Healing flag carriers yields bonus points, 50 extra per 10 health. So healing a flag carrier for 90 health gives you 450 extra points.
- Transporting flag carriers resulting in a successful capture yields bonus points.
- MAVs can destroy all sort of electronic gadgets, blow up explosives and destroy medic and ammo bags.
- EOD bots can arm and defuse M-COMs.
- EOD bots can destroy explosives without detonating them.
- Spawn beacons always spawn you in the direction you were facing when you placed them.
- Commanders can tag players who are on a killstreak of at least 7 kills as a HVT (High Value Target). This will permanently spot them. Killing a HVT will yield bonus points.
- Doing a proximity attack as a commander will destroy any in-flight cruise missile, as well as UAVs and EMPs, and the enemy commander will be unable to perform any action for 15 seconds.
- As a commander you can also destroy cruise missiles by placing an EMP UAV in its path.
- Certain flags have certain commander assets, as can be seen next to their icon. Capturing the flag will give the commander the specific asset.
- Tanks, IFVs and Attack Helicopters have UI indicators that indicate the direction a gunner is looking.
- Small medic bags can heal you on the move, while big medic bags can heal multiple players at once. Choose one depending on your playstyle.
- However, the small ammo bag does not resupply you on the move, and it actually has a finite amount of ammo, therefor you should always use the big ammo box.
- The optimal turning speed for jets is 313 knots indicated by a speed-o-meter on your UI.
- Stealth jets have afterburners, allowing them to go faster, but attack jets do not. Stealth jets also have a faster turn rate giving them the upperhand in dogfighting
- The F-35 has can vertically land and take off. This system is called STOVL, or short take-off and vertical landing. This can be done by holding the decelerate key. The afterburner still works while doing this.
- The American F-35 has a smaller hitbox than the Chinese J-20 and Russian SU-50, therefor making it the best stealth jet in the game.
- The Chinese Q-5 Fantan has a faster turn rate than the American A10 Warthog and the Russian SU-25TM Frogfoot.
- The American AH-6J Littlebird has a smaller tail than the Z-11W and is also much less fragile. However it id more open making it a little bit easier to shoot the pilot out of his seat.
- The American M1 Abrams has a much larger hitbox than the Russian T-90A or the Chinese Type 99 MBT. It also has the worst gun depression when looking backwards, making it difficult to hit infantry behind you. However it has the highest top speed of 61 km/h, compared to 60 and 57 km/h of the Type 99 and T-90A respectively.
- Hitting just above the main turret on a Type 99 or T-90A will register as a rear shot, dealing massive damage. This is due to a bug and it might take some practice to pull off. Some servers might ban you for this, so use at your own risk.
- Smokescreen, IR smoke and ECM will instantly unspot your vehicle. Smokescreen will keep you in an unspottable state for 7 seconds. ECM will hide you from the air radar for the entire duration.
- The termal camo upgrade will reduce the time you are spotted from 12 to 4 seconds. It will hide you from Vehicle Scans and you’ll only shortly blink when under a UAV. It will also not highlight you on IR sights.
- Helicopters and jets can go below radar. This is 25 meters or lower to the ground for helicopters, and 50 meters or lower to the ground for jets. You can see your height on your altimeter.
- When you are below radar, you will not show up on the air radar, and any vehicle lock-ons (counts for all vehicles from jets to tanks) will be unable to lock-on to you. This does not apply to infantry lock-ons and laser designation. It does also not break incoming missiles.
- You can not revive someone while you are standing out of bounds. This means that if you go too far out of bounds you can not get revived because you are out of range for the medics.
- The Laser Designation diamond will only show up if you have a SRAW, MBT LAW or Javelin equipped, even though you can also make use of it with TOW missiles, Laser guided missiles and guided shells.
- The EOD bot, Mortar, MAV and Soflam are persistent, meaning you can use them again after you died. To do this simply right click when holding the remote control.
- You can shoot an in-flight TV Missile with explosive rounds. Not only will this cause it to explode, it will also kill the user, as a result of a bug. This means that you can kill an attack boat driver without actually destroying the boat.
- You can instantly equip your knife by pressing the knife button and holding it.
- The XD-1 Accipiter can be picked back up to refill its battery life. This allows you to use it forever. The same can be said about the RAWR’s ammo.
- Engineers can pick up explosives without exploding them if they have a repair torch/EOD bot in their loadout, however they will not be available to use.
- Hitting vehicles from different angles will do different amounts of damage. A perfect 90 degree hit will do the most damage. This applies to tanks, IFVs and FACs.
- Tanks take more damage when you hit them in the rear or top, and less when you hit them in the front.
- You can destroy cruise missiles by shooting them with any weaponry. It will even yield points.
- In-game battlelog will display the next map. Keep in mind that this information might be incorrect if you are playing on a server that makes use of map-vote plugins.
- You can not use two handed sidearms while swimming, which includes the Shorty and the Mare’s Leg.
- The full sized map will tell you what map, mode, preset and tickrate you are currently playing.
- Rooftops will be disabled when playing small modes like Team Deathmatch to prevent players from camping.
- In Rush and Team Deathmatch tickets are lost when someone dies, and that ticket will return when the player is revived. In Conquest tickets are lost when players respawn.
- You can push any water vehicle, jeeps, ATVs, DPVs, snowmobiles and dirt bikes by knifing them, to get them back in the water or unstuck.
- Pushing vehicles goes significantly faster while prone.
- If you stay in the same squad, field upgrades can carry over from one game to the next.
- You exit vehicles in the direction you are looking.
- In conquest, IFV’s, MAA’s, Scout Helicopters, Transport Helicopters and AMTRAC’s have a respawn time of 60 seconds, while Tanks, Mobile Artilleries, Stealth Jets, Attack Jets, Attack Helicopters and Attack Boats have a respawn time of 90 seconds.
- Small transport vehicles have a respawn time of 10 seconds, jeeps have a respawn time of 20 seconds, and armored transport vehicles have a respawn time of 30 seconds.
- Stationary turrets have a respawn time of 30 seconds.
- The AAV-7A1 Amtrac acts as a mobile spawnpoint, meaning anyone can spawn on it even when nobody is inside of it.
- As long as somebody is driving it, anyone can spawn on a transport vehicle. This is especially useful for the Transport Helicopter, where you can hover high above a capture point to act as a spawn point for your teammates.
- The fastest possible ticket bleed is 1 ticket per second, and it occurs when you all-cap. Ticket bleed grows in a linear matter, so on a map with 5 flags it is 1 per second when you have control of 5 flags, 0,66 per second when you have control over 4 flags and 0,33 per second when you have control over 3 flags.
- Player respawn times are 15 seconds for Conquest, Rush and Carrier Assault, 12 Seconds for Obliteration, Squad Obliteration, Squad Deathmatch and Air superiority, 10 Seconds for Domination and 7 seconds for Team Deathmatch, Gun Master
- Angle modifiers apply to repair tools and EOD bots.
- You can instantly take-off with helicopters by quickly switching to the secondary seat and back to the pilot seat.
- Vehicles always have the selected loadout of the driver, so you can have a friend equip fire extinguisher and switch seats with him when you need it. This can be a bit tricky in two seaters, especially helicopters, so make sure to agree with your friend who switches and who exits and reenters.
- You can prematurely exit TV Missiles by pressing the exit button.
- In vehicles, you will start reloading as soon as you do not have full ammo. This means that with Pocket-fed ammunition, you can fire once upon spawning to get some extra ammo.
- Any weapon that overheats can fire for way longe rif you take short pauses inbetween firing volleys. This also works with repair tools.
- You can not equip lock-on weaponry from passenger seats. This includes the SRAW, MBT LAW, Javelin, Stinger and IGLA.
- In obliteration and defuse, you can drop a bomb by holding 1
- On every map where air vehicles are present, your main base has a SAA, which stands for Stationary Anti Air. It will automatically shoot at any spotted aircraft within range.
- Every unsupressed bullet you fire will spot you on the minimap for 0.675 seconds. For vehicles, every round you fire will spot you on the minimap for 0.5 seconds.
- Infantry soldiers stay spotted for 7 seconds. Vehicles stay spotted for 12 seconds.
- Up to 200 meters, soldiers you are looking at will be “Passively spotted” meaning that they show up on the minimap without having to actually spot them.
- The Quick Unspot field upgrade will hide you from passive spotting completely and reduce the time you are spotted by 2 seconds.
- If you completely empty your magazine reload times will be a lot longer because there will be no bullet in the chamber, and you will also have 1 less bullet. This does not apply to belt-fed weapons.
- Every weapon has a faction, and the same thing goes for attachments. You can unlock attachments that are from the same faction as your weapon by getting kills, and attachments that are not from the same faction are unlocked through battlepacks.
- Commander resupply crates slowly repair nearby vehicles.
- IED’s or Improvised Explosive Devices can be found on Golmud Railway, Silk Road, Operation Firestorm and Gulf of Oman. You can blow them up using their detonator, any form of explosives, Miniguns or .50 caliber Sniper rifles. They will instakill anything within their range and create a huge dust cloud.
- In jets, you can look behind you in third person by holding the right mouse button.
- You can spot while looking behind you. It is a bit tricky but certainly doable.
- If you click on a vehicle in the spawn screen that is currently occupied, you can press escape to see where it is.
- You can look around you while flying in a jet or helicopter by holding the right mouse button.
- You do not have to look at M-COMs while arming them. You can even do tasks like shoot and reload to defend yourself while arming.
- Equipping the UGL Rail on your assault rifle allows you to mount the M320 or M26 on your gun. This is not available for all weapons. If you mount a M320 on a russian weapon it will become a GP30. Mounted gadgets take significantly less time to reload.
- Different guns have different drawspeeds, which is the time it takes to equip it. LMGs have the slowest drawspeed and pistols the fastest.
- The 44 Magnum, Unica 6 and M1911 have a 3x scope available. This scope is meant as an easter egg.
- You can differentiate players who have the defensive perk from players who do not by the little shield around the spot icon. (this has to be enabled in the settings)
- You can open a closed hatch by shooting it.
- The longer you charge your defibrillator by holding down fire, the more health you are giving the revived player. Without charging it is 20% health, or 34 with the Defib upgrade. You can charge it all the way up to 100% health, which takes 2 seconds, or 1 second with the Defib upgrade. You will get a beeping sound when you are 100% charged.
- Defibrillators have a finite amount of charges with the maximum being three. You automatically gain another charge every 5 seconds, or 2.5 seconds if you have the Defib upgrade.
- Deploying a vehicle drop on water will deploy a jetski instead of a quad bike.
- You can commit mutiny on your commander as a squad leader if you do not like his performance.
- Commanders can resign from their position to deploy as a normal soldier.
- Bipods are automatically deployed while sitting in a passenger seat of for example a jeep.
- Ammo perks affect pickup weapons. Grenadier gives you more ammo in the MGL, Extra magazines gives you an extra belt for the M60-ULT, etc.
