I built myself a media server today, only had to spend a few hundred bucks and a few hours of time. It's got a 6700k on a z170 Asus ATX motherboard with 8gb ddr4 2400 ram and to start a 4tb WD red drive. I put it all into a Silverstone htpc case and powered it all with the cheapest rated corsair power supply that microcenter had. The boot drive is a 128gb nvme drive. Going to install Ubuntu server tomorrow and load it up with all the porn @Soulzz has been sending me. Apparently he wants me to share it with the entire TBG.
