LOL... the thing is, a whole lot of those asteroids will never intersect with earth (space is a fucking HUGE place), and even if they do, 99.99% probably burn in the atmosphere. Even if they don't, you'd have to get really unlucky for them to land in a residential area with all the water and space...

So the chance is way way way low, but it's there I suppose...
