I gotta figure out a way to rig my gopro on my kite....should make for some interesting footage on the beach!

If you want one you better buy one while you can, the FCC is working overtime to try and get these things out of civilian hands. Fubs does your gimbal rotate and elevate by remote? I've been wanting to get one of these but I'm not sure which ones have gimblals that move, or remote zoom optics, or whether they all just have fixed gimbals that move with the airframe.

That is really cool, nice buy. A guy had one at a motocross track by my house a couple weeks ago and ever since I've been wanting one to take videos of my kids at the track. Every GoPro vid they've shot from their helmets...SUCKS! One it's shaky because they are kids. Two....No matter how much adjusting I do....They are always looking somewhere else than where I spent ten minutes asking them if this is what they watch on the track. So you are looking at the front fender or gas tank. I didn't realize they were so cheap. Thanks for posting!

Gotta post it on handle bar...and cinch it the fuck down....otherwise a boot cam, or right outside radiator housing...

bullet cams are better for bikes

My gf and I take good vids....but I'm not looking at the spectators....looking at me.....making sure they are watching as I try 60' table and crash because I wasn't looking where I was going. Haha. That's why I want the GoPro to work so they can watch it and see, hey it wasn't the bikes fault I crashed, I was looking at dad when I hit that jump going 40. It's always the bikes fault. Kids heads are just too wobbly! Maybe I can get their spines fused? The drone would just be cooler anyways. I could fly it down to see if they are okay instead of having to walk. Then again the kids would want to fly the drone to take videos too. So I'd have to listen to them argue about who gets to fly it, who flew it last, who "called it". Plus they would probably hit me with it while I'm riding or in the air. Huh, never though of that. At my age I don't like having the ground stop me.

I want to see the videos for the reason he really purchased the toy. Spying on his big boobies neighbor when she is in the shower.

They cant get rid of them , but they can set regulations of where and how high you can fly as well as restricted air space . that why I like the Phantom 2 vision , check this out

and read this http://www.dji.com/fly-safe/category-mc . im covered for safe flying and dont have to worry about breaking laws . just follow the rules and they are tons of fun . it really is amazing how much effort they put into making the Phantom . "worth every penny"

What other areas are now restricted air space with the new firmware update besides large and small airports? It's a good idea to restrict airport space, if you've ever looked at an air navigation map you will see huge domes of restricted airspace around all airports, with varying minimum altitudes. He didn't mention in the video what other air space has been restricted. I imagine they will sooner than later restrict all airspace around government buildings from Capital Hill to your county courthouse to your local PD. I think eventually they will outlaw any UAV that does not have a GPS system capable of automatically restricting your flight.

Not sure what others will be added to the firmware , but I am all for it. As for flying around government building ect they should restrict from flying around them unless your a certified done operator with commercial use permit that would have to follow a flight plan and follow FAA regulations , mainly because there are to many idiots out there . If people would just use common sense and be a little more safety conscious , they wouldn't have to make such strict rules like the ban of all use in many National Parks .

that's a nice video. I'm not sure if I would have taken that risk, that's a lot a money to fly right into the fireworks
