New Case Audio Issue?

I recently purchased the Corsair 780t.
I transferred all my old stuff from a Antec 1200 rev 3.0. The audio issue I'm having seems to be a buzzing while having any browser open, and in any game. I put extra electrical tape on the hd audio plug from the case. While routing all the cables in the back panel I made sure to isolate all the power wires from the psu , instead of grouping them . So the buzzing happens either having my headset plugged into the mb audio ports , or the new sound card I purchased. I'm using a Roccat Kave 5.1 stereo headset. I never experienced this with my Antec case. If anyone has an idea , any help would be greatly appreciated! image.jpg image.jpg

Might sound strange, but did you install the isolators for the MB to the case? Could be a few things at this point, but the common factor I see is the case.

The circular pads between the screws and mb? If so yes but I think I might have them on wrong ? I installed them between the screw and top side of the MB , just like my old case.
Are they supposed to go on the under side between the mounting brackets and MB?

Mex and I had the same problem when we bought an El Camino case. It was a lose connection on the mb.
Then we went and had Poutine.

For what it's worth, I've never used those pads and have never had feedback issues, regardless of the use of onboard/dedicated sound--well over 50+ builds. There's always a first though, interested if that solves your issue, good luck!

Rain what is that? Like a surge protector?
If I remember correctly it is to prevent DC interference, i think technically you can put one between your headphones and the sound card. But I have a feeling someone will tell me this wont do anything for you.

GOT IT! The MB screw in the upper left corner near the audio ports was loose ie stripped. I replaced the mounting screw removed all mounting pads , tightened all connections . WALLAH! no buzzing!
Thanks guys for all the responses I appreciate any and all help you guys gave . Cheers!
