New Chair

Is this for your PC desk at home like for gaming or an office, or what? If it's for gaming I really like this one; it's ergonomic, has a thick pad for comfort when gaming and is just damn comfortable.

id go with a mesh chair for sure I had a padded for a minute granted it was comfortable but hot and makes ya sweat when ya don't realize it. ive got a mid back mesh chair I got from Walmart long enough ago I couldn't find it in my shop history. and I think it only ran my like 75$. I do all my shopping online and its a crap shoot specially on chairs since you cant sit in it until you get it put together once you get it. might wanna go to wherever is close and have a sit down in some see what ya like

This is for gaming lol
Then get something with a good pad and lumbar support. It doesn't matter what you get, but be comfortable. Anything with a 4-5" pad is great. My wife liked mine so much she got one since she works from home.

I've always had lotsa comfort and no complaints with my chair:

There's a few things you want to consider when making a purchase: How long do you plan on sitting in it? How much do you weigh? What surface do you roll on? What is your budget?

I bought it in December of 2013, and last month, I noticed that it was starting to sink down when I had it fully extended. I called Staples, because it had a 5 year manufacturers warranty, and wanted to see what I needed to do to fix this problem. They told me when I purchased it I got the staples extended warranty and that I could either take the chair to the local store for a refund of the amount that I purchased it for, or they could send me the gas cylinder. I opted to have the cylinder shipped to me, and was told that it would still have the remainder of the warranty even with this repair.

I'm 6'4", and I was over 290# when I got it. I use it about 8 hrs a day, and have used it on hardwood and carpet with no problem with the casters. I would not hesitate to buy this chair again. Don't buy the cheap chairs; if you don't have the money to buy a good one now, and opt for the inexpensive chair, I guarantee you'll have to replace it again in a year (voice of experience).

Good luck getting that gas cylinder out.

When my cylinder gave I adjusted it to my desired height and used spacers so it is stuck at that height.

Funny thing is that in the email that the Staples rep sent me with the tracking number for the cylinder was a link of a woman changing the cylider. It really was that easy (pardon the pun)

I'm looking at a new chair as well, and the current one I have was from OfficeMax, now the same company as OfficeDepot. I had the extended warranty as well, so I can pretty much trade this one bak for exactly what I paid for it and then pay the difference of a new one, plus a new plan. So i've got about 60$ from this if I buy from them again. This is one that I was looking at, and this is one with a mesh back that might work for you. We just got about 125 of a similar mesh back at work, but I don't know where they came from as I know they are slightly different than that.
