No Gun Glitch

just bought battlefield 3 premium pack... and every time i join a server i start with no guns just a cross hair on the screen. anyone else have a glitch like this and fixed it?

Have you tried updating your video drivers?

i have nvidia drivers 301.42 and everytime i use new drivers i boot into safe mode and use drivercleaner, then reinstall fresh

nope havent tried that yet...... was hoping not to do that, ill do it.... the controls are saved online or in a config file?

Try "Repair Install" in Origin before you go the whole hog and reinstall from scratch. Settings are (I believe) stored in My Documents\Battlefield 3.

There is a way to actually turn it off with some keybinds. Ctrl, Alt, Arrow up, or something like that. I have heard of it glitching once or twice in a few weeks, but not every spawn. There a number of posts about it at the BAttlelog forums. As far as I can tell there isn't a fix for it yet. Usually for me if it happens i just switch weapons and switch back.

2 things..... complete reinstall fixed the problem.... and im glad to see they are storing the controls on the server now so no need to reselect kits or config keys
