Haa! My Triumph's bigger than a Smart Car!

LOL. I live in a city and either would be nice. As cplmac said if your not in it for the enjoyment its always better to get the car. Then again we were talking CBR vs Civic. The smart car isn't very much on utility.

Rain, I was actually interested in buying a Smart when they were first coming to the US as guys were reporting mileage in the 70/80's with the diesel version. Then I found out we weren't getting the diesel, or the manual. Then I drove a gas/automatic one. Fucking horrible! You could make a sandwich in between the 1st to 2nd gear change it was so sloooooow. And the three cylinder engine had what I thought to be a lot of vibration and running noises. My three cylinder Triumph is much smoother and has 30 more hp. I can carry just as much crap on the bike and it's way more fun. Plus a Mini Cooper can get the same if not better mpg than the Smart. Mine don't because they are both John Cooper Works S's and have either a supercharger or turbocharger on them. The older ones average is about 22 mpg but I romp on it from every single stop. The whine of the supercharger is addicting! The newer convertible's average is about 28 mpg. Even the bike's not great it runs 41 mpg average. But they are all fun so the hell with it.
