The exact reason the sharks were right not to invest. Sure there is profit to be made but there is nothing special about a product whose design has existed for 25 years. The only thing that has changed is the demand is potentially about to actually exist. Doesn't stop too many companies from getting into it.

If the game was intense I would do it but I would imagine it to be a simple shooter with not a very imaginative setup. I think a VR world that was great would take far too long in development for a major developer to take a shot at it with the sincerity that it would need to make it very intense.
 
The blanket statement that gamers are lazy is horribly ignorant, while that is true for a lot of gamers maybe even most it's definitely not entirely true. Our clan is a great example of that, half our members are current or prior military. This thing would be a MOTHERFUCKER on DayZ though.
